Having a Moment: Joni Jeans

So I realise I am a little late to this party, but I have just started taking notice of these little beauties. Skinny? Check. High waisted? Check. My dream jean? Yes indeedy. The Topshop Joni Jean really has it all and they come in a wise range of shades and patterned which suit all seasons so they are a year round winner. Bravo Topshop you've done it again.

Wedding Dress Shopping

Kimono New Look, Top New Look, Jeans ASOS, Monk shoes ASOS
I've been shopping for wedding dresses today, not for myself but for my future sister in law. I loved it so much and it's definitely stirred up some wedding fever. She actually found 'the one' today too which was really exciting and it's a beautiful dress and she looks beautiful in it.

300: Rise of an Empire

Blazer ASOS, t-shirt River Island, Skirt Topshop, Loafers New Look
Just got back from a Nandos/movie date with Andrew and a good movie we saw too. It was the new 300 film and I had high expectations as I loved the first one and I wasn't disappointed. It was really good, not as good as the first but what film is? The only thing was that it seemed to just end suddenly, I was left a bit like oh is that it? But other than that it was a very enjoyable film. And Eva green is a goddess!

Girly Catchup

Yesterday I met up with a few friends from uni who in haven't seen for so long it's ridiculous.nwe all me up in Bedford, went for some lunch which is standard for us but then also participated in a pole dancing lesson (not so standard). I was a little bit apprehensive at first as my relationship with excercise is non existent but it was so much fun, I don't think I've laughed that much for a while. It is a lot harder than I had imagined it to be and today I am achy and covered in bruises but I definitely now have a lot of respect for pole dancers because that is tough work.

Wanted: Bag Lust

I'm not entirely sure why it's taken me so long to write a post of bags I lust over as it is a continuing struggle in my life. I do not own a designer bag thus far as my head is winning in the battle of want vs need, but if I could actually afford one it would definitely be one of the beauties below.
I love the Ted baker bag which I only spotted 2 days ago while on a comp shop for work, I love how it has a designer look about it but at a fraction of the cost of a designer bag.
the Pashli is probably my favourite right now but it is in constant battle with the Alexa as I have yearned for the Mulberry staple for years now (no exaggeration!).
I love the quirkiness of the two clutch bags, I think they would add interest to the simplest of outfits and be a real talking point too. I had to pick the Dracula version because I have a slight obsession over vampires so a clutch with Dracula on it is just amazing to me.
The Michael Kors bag is a surprise to me as I wouldn't really buy a pastel blue bag but it is so on trend at the minute and it's a great shape and size and I just think the colour is actually really nice and would compliment outfits well.

Delayed Valentines Dinner

Today Andrew and I are having a late Valentines dinner as he was ill last weekend so we couldn't do anything. I thought this heart print shirt was a suitable choice for dinner and I just love it anyway. I bought Andrew the male version for Christmas but loved it so much that I had to buy myself the female one. It is a great dupe of the Burberry shirt of the same print that everyone was loving last year but at a fraction of the cost. Bargain!

Saint Valentine

So it's that time of year again when romance it's the top of everyone's agenda. I always say how I don't really care about Valentines day but as a girl I secretly love it. An excuse for Andrew to buy me a bouquet of roses is ok with me (this is actually the first time in about 4 years that I have received roses for Valentines day so it was a nice surprise). He always gets me little odd bits aswell and this year they included a money pot, a couples quiz, chocolate, some DVDs and a mug with our mugs on them. He truly is the best and spoils me rotten every year even though he doesn't really like Valentines day, which is probably the attitude of every man out there.
This photo is from Christmas but it is the most loving one I have ❤️

Wanted: Transitional pieces

Days off work prove to be increasingly dangerous as I just spend my time browsing online at clothes trying to restrain myself. I haven't bought any of these things yet but I don't know how much more strength I have let in me (especially when it comes to that oxblood tutu ) I think all these items have great staying power when it comes to wearing them now and wearing them in the months to come. Tartan, checks and gingham is a trend that is here to stay and when you mix the print with the ever so fashionable skort (a skirt short hybrid) you have a match made in heaven. I have been listing over this particular skort for a while now so I think I need to get a wriggle on before they sell out. The two pairs of shoes are also both Topshop and I can't quite decide which pair I love more. I love the gold detail on the heel of the boots but I love the lace up detail on the shoes. decisions decisions decisions. I love the boldness of the pencil skirt and big graphic prints prove to be a big trend for Spring. I also love the classic appeal of the mac. You can never go wrong with a mac, it is a timeless piece of clothing that will never go away so is defiantly worth the investment (and this one is only £75!! Bargain)

Smock is the word

So after months of lusting over this dress I finally took the plunge and ordered it. I took peoples advice and ordered it in a slightly smaller size but it does still have the ability to make you look a little bit pregnant so just be careful at what angle people catch you at. Even with the pregnancy problem I still adore this dress and it will easily transition from season to season thanks to its on trend print and relaxed style. Also just a shout out to the amazing electric blue ankle boots that a picked up from the Topshop sale at a bargain price of £20 (after student discount).

Wolf of Wall Street

So I went to see Wolf of Wall Street yesterday with Andrew and is was amazing. Definitely the best film I have seen in a very long time and if Leonardo doesn't finally get an Oscar then the poor man is being robbed once again. Would highly recommend this film to everyone.
